The Amasaman High Court has reduced the prison sentence of Nana Agradaa from 15 years to 12 months, ruling that the original punishment was harsh and excessive. While the court maintained her conviction, it exercised its discretion to lessen the length of the sentence. The revised 12-month term takes effect from July 3, 2025, the date of her conviction. This means that although she remains guilty of the offences for which she was convicted, she will spend a significantly shorter period in prison than originally ordered.
