John Dramani Mahama Inaugurates New Ghana Embassy Chancery in Addis Ababa

 

President John Dramani Mahama has officially inaugurated a new chancery for Ghana’s Embassy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, marking a significant milestone in Ghana’s diplomatic engagement on the African continent. The commissioning of the new chancery underscores the government’s commitment to strengthening Ghana’s foreign relations, particularly with Ethiopia, which hosts the headquarters of the African Union and serves as a major diplomatic hub in Africa.

The President was accompanied by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, along with other senior government officials and members of the diplomatic corps. The new chancery provides a modern and well-equipped facility to support the work of Ghanaian diplomats in Ethiopia.
