PUBLIC STATEMENT & APOLOGY

PUBLIC STATEMENT & APOLOGY

I wish to formally address the prophetic declarations I made concerning the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primaries, which did not come to pass.

Through a book, videos, and various media engagements, I publicly declared that Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong would emerge as the winner of the primaries and become the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party. That declaration has proven to be inaccurate. I acknowledge plainly and without reservation that I was wrong.

I take full responsibility for this prophetic declaration. I do not seek to justify it, excuse it, or shift blame to anyone or any circumstance. The word, as declared, failed, and I own that failure completely.

Because I spoke with prophetic authority in public spaces, many people trusted my words. I recognize that some individuals were affected emotionally, spiritually, and even politically as a result. For this, I am deeply sorry. I sincerely apologize to all who believed my declaration, supported it, or made decisions based on it, and were left disappointed or hurt.

I ask for your forgiveness.

This moment has caused me to pause and reflect seriously on the weight of prophetic responsibility, particularly in matters that affect public life and national discourse. I am taking time to realign myself with greater accountability, humility, and discernment in how prophetic revelations are received, interpreted, and communicated.

Let me state clearly: I accept that this prophecy, as announced, did not come to pass. I acknowledge the correction and receive it with humility. My commitment remains to integrity, growth, truth, and a deeper reverence for the responsibility that comes with spiritual leadership.

To believers in Ghana and around the world who felt confused, wounded, or discouraged, I sincerely ask for your forgiveness. I am especially sorry to anyone who may have questioned the voice of God or His faithfulness as a result of my actions. Any failure here is mine alone and not a reflection of God’s ability to speak to His people.

I am grateful to those who have corrected me in love, spoken truth with grace, and continue to pray for me. I receive your counsel and your prayers with appreciation and humility.

May this moment serve as a lesson in accountability, sobriety, and spiritual growth—for me and for all who look to spiritual voices for guidance.

Thank you for your grace, understanding, and forgiveness.

Signed,

Prophet Bernard Elbenard Nelson Eshun
